Crow just received a huge honor in his home state. The Texas native and Army veteran was invited to add his name to the infamous “backstage pass” wall at the world’s largest honky-tonk - Billy Bob’s Texas. Crow joins ranks of many music legends to have earned the honor including Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Alan Jackson, Alabama, Hank Williams, Jr., Chris LeDoux, Blake Shelton, Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Robison, and Marty Stuart among others.
In addition to the Ireland tour dates (Red Dirt Pub Crawl) and his Billy Bob’s Texas honor, The Parade- which No Depression says is one of the albums of “New Music You Need,” continues to vault his notoriety outside the borders of his home state. Crow made his debut on the AMA Americana Airplay album chart with The Parade and Starbucks chose “Dear Music,” from the album to feature in their Overhead Music program last month. The Texas native’s sixth album entered the chart at No. 40 and made an impressive leap 13 spots to No. 27 after only one week. “Life Comes At You Fast,” the debut single from The Parade, peaked at No. 2 on the Texas Music Chart after a solid 25 weeks. The single spent the last six weeks in the Top 5 of the Texas charts making it the longest running Top 5 Texas singles of the year.
The Parade is available now at iTunes.

Obviously a live show is pretty much IT, but when that cannot be, what's better than a concert call? A Stageit show works in my book. It's live music that you can watch in your bed, comfy chair, office or really, anywhere.
On November 29th at 8pmEST, American Aquarium front man BJ Barham will be closing out Thanksgiving weekend by hosting a Stageit, playing old songs, new songs and really, anything he wants. It's going to be a "don't miss it" good one. So get the info. and grab a ticket here.

(Press Release) Eric Heatherly delivers a saucy holiday invitation that cannot be denied. With the sentiment and allure of “Be Mine For Christmas” (KEM--featuring Ledisi) and the Ann Margret/Al Hirt rendition of “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” this solo, seductive contemporary holiday track is “Mississippi Blues meets early Elvis.” Featuring saloon parlor ivories, screamin’ guitar licks and harmonica to jazz things up, this tune is a mood swinger.
"You freeze me like fire
Burn me like snow
When you stand there in the doorway underneath the mistletoe
Somethin's cookin' in the oven like a sugar cookie
Girl you're sweet lovin' makes me wanna boogie
I'll be your Santa Claus but I'll never leave
You feel like Christmas to me"
"These are songs that others aspire to be." - No Depression
(Press Release) Following the release of his critically acclaimed new album Daytime Turned To Nighttime, out now on Nine Mile Records, Patrick Sweany has released a new music video for the album's opening track "First Of The Week."
Watch the video on YouTube:
The Daily Beast called Patrick Sweany a "goddamned good guitarist and songwriter." Writer James Joiner elaborated and said, "On his latest record, Daytime Turned to Nighttime, he’s relaxed a little, settled into his role as a Southern gentleman, and the laconic tunes seep sincerity as much as they do musical dexterity."
For Daytime Turned To Nighttime, Sweany continued to work with local producer and engineer Joe McMahan, who lent his talents to Close To The Floor (2013) as well as That Old Southern Drag (2011). Together, they recruited Ron Eoff (The Band, The Cate Brothers) and Bryan Owings (Tony Joe White, Emmylou Harris) as the rhythm section. Sweany refers to them as "the funkiest, most soulful players you could ask for."
Luke Torn of Uncut rated the album 8 out of 10 and said, "Digging deep into the essence of the late-'60s Muscle Shoals with every note, tapping into both the musical and emotional pull of myriad postwar blues, soul and country styles, Nashvillian Patrick Sweany crafts what sounds like a career highlight."

November 19, 2015 (Toronto, ON Press Release) – With a reputation for delivering the most undeniable high-energy, live performance in Canadian country music, the multi-award winning trio, The Road Hammers are raising the bar even higher with the release of their latest single ‘One Horse Town’ featuring Open Road Recordings label-mate Tim Hicks. The track is now available for download and streaming.
In the spirit of celebrating hometown pride, The Road Hammers premiered ‘One Horse Town’ at the Boots and Hearts halftime show for the Toronto Agronauts’ very last home game at the Rogers Centre before moving to their new stadium. This new track provides the first peek at their highly anticipated 2016 album – an album that adds a whole new flavour to the classic Hammer sound.
Collaborating with the Road Hammers for their upcoming album, outdoor lifestyle brand Fueled By Rednecks (FBR) is bringing a whole new experience to fans. Taking from the sentiments of the recent GOLD single ‘Mud’, FBR has created an exclusive Road Hammers clothing line that will speak to the Mudder Trucker in everyone. The excitement of a live Hammers show has been made even bigger with the addition of FBR’s unique merchandising experience that allows fans to participate in the fun beyond the show. With innovative social media contesting and activities, fans can expect a greater connection with the band than ever before.
What is already proving to be Canada’s country anthem, ‘One Horse Town’ encapsulates everything that small town living is all about. Inspired by the eruption of submissions to Coors Banquet’s One Horse Town contest, this track is quickly becoming a tribute to the pride Canadians have for their small towns.
“As soon as the folks from Coors approached us with the idea about the One Horse Town contest, I knew we needed a theme song for the event, and a song to celebrate the heart of country music,” explains Jason McCoy. “Every One Horse Town is filled with a thousand stories and good times, we wanted the right soundtrack for the party!”
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Canada’s best country music act on board to represent the FBR brand,” says Fueled By Rednecks president, Craig Hawthorne. “The FBR store and team will be out in full force at all Road Hammers events, with lots of fun, contests, prizes, and innovative social media activities. The upcoming release of the Road Hammers’ new album, Fueled by Rednecks, is sure to fuel all your good times!”
